Growth and survival analysis of P. lutzii on propionate. a Serial dilutions of cell suspensions (from 106 to 103 cells) were spotted on MMcM containing propionate, glucose plus propionate and glucose as carbon sources. The plates were incubated at 36 °C for 10 days. b Viability analysis of yeast cells incubated on MMcM medium containing propionate and/or glucose from 10 to 50 mM.
